Share your Thoughts

We love Spruce Grove and we all have so much to be grateful for. This city does exceptional things,

but it's not to say we do things perfectly and all the time! I want to know what you love, what you

want to see improved, and what you'd like the city to do next!

Your responses and ideas help me form the priorities I advocate for as your councillor

and ensure your voice is heard throughout the 4-year term.

Share what you love about Spruce Grove.

Spruce Grove does so many things well. From our beautiful natural areas, parks and trails, to providing much needed facilities such as the newly built Heavy Metal Place or Re-Imagine Central Park or the continued revitalization of our city centre, there is something to love about our city for everyone.

Share what you love most about our city (and would insist we keep doing what we're doing!)

Share what you think the city can improve upon.

You can still love a city and know there are areas to work on. We are not perfect, but we aim to be.

At times, it may feel the city is lacking, whether it's a particular service level, infrastructure need or something else, there is opportunity to improve if we know what and how.

Share where you'd like to see us improve and if you have any potential solutions (don't worry if you don't have any, that's what our expert is for!)

Share what you think the city should do next.

When you have a city that is future focused, the question should be, "what's next?".

The city is in a good financial position and with our rapid growth, we know we have to keep up with the demands that long-time and new residents expect of us.

So what is next? Whether it's that much needed pool, more land for industrial or a wish list of yours (bowling alley anyone?), what do you think the city should be doing next over this next decade?

Submit your responses:

Tell me one or a few things that you love about our city and wouldn't want to see changed.

If there were areas in the city that you'd like to see us improve upon, tell me what they are and any ideas you may have on how we can improve.

This is the wish list. What do you think our city should focus on next? From new infrastructure to new services or what ever ideas you have percolating!

I respectfully acknowledge that I am a settler on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Iroquois, Métis, Dene, Nakota Sioux, Ojibway, Anishinaabe and Inuit whose histories, languages and cultures influence and enrich our vibrant community. We share the land of Spruce Grove with the Michel Band Nation and share friendship with our Indigenous neighbours the Enoch Cree Nation, Paul Band Nation, Alexander First Nation and Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation. I acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries. I will acknowledge this for as long as long as the sun shines, the grass grows and the river flows.”
