Success Highlights

The last four years in Spruce Grove has been busy, to say the least! We continue to explode in growth, leading the region in new housing starts and our population surpass 40,000 in 2023. And we have so many projects on the go and construction is in nearly every corner of the city. I'm proud to have seen so many long-desired projects completed or started during this last term.

While this is by no means a comprehensive list of what this council has accomplished, it gives you a great overview of many of the projects I have been so proud to support- whether bringing an idea forward, supporting the idea brought forward by other members of council or by residents themselves, or projects that have long been planned, with their construction put into motion by prior councils.

And while I ran in both 2017 and 2021 supporting many of these successes found here, it takes a dedicated council that not only trust each other, but trust administration to carry out the vision set forth by council during strategic planning.

Check out what has been going on the past four years through the success highlights!

I respectfully acknowledge that I am a settler on Treaty 6 territory, a traditional meeting ground, gathering place, and travelling route to the Cree, Saulteaux, Blackfoot, Iroquois, Métis, Dene, Nakota Sioux, Ojibway, Anishinaabe and Inuit whose histories, languages and cultures influence and enrich our vibrant community. We share the land of Spruce Grove with the Michel Band Nation and share friendship with our Indigenous neighbours the Enoch Cree Nation, Paul Band Nation, Alexander First Nation and Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation. I acknowledge all the many First Nations, Métis, and Inuit whose footsteps have marked these lands for centuries. I will acknowledge this for as long as long as the sun shines, the grass grows and the river flows.”
