Updates to the responsible pet ownership bylaw finally saw the city address cats in the bylaw! We changed the number of animals a residence may have, strengthened the section on vicious animals and addressed what types of animals you can own in the city (with some grandfathered in).

We also took our time putting a pilot project together for urban henkeeping. The pilot project is in its second year and will be assessed by the new council whether to continue, discontinue or make changes to the program.
