Participating in keeping the city green

We have so many excting ways we take care of natural areas in our community. We have community gardens, new orchards which include planting edible fruit trees and bushes all over our city, introduced garden boulevards and finding a way to help renew our forests.

We have events that help maintain our urban forests such as Spruce up Spruce Grove and we have found ways to protect ecologically sensitve areas such as the Fen on the east side of Spruce Grove, but plan to still make it accessibe to the community.
